Abstract: Norton Anti Virus conflicts with all versions of JBuilder

It has been discovered that Norton Anti Virus (NAV) conflicts with all versions of JBuilder. We are unsure of the exact cause of what NAV is doing but it causes a variety of errors ranging from access violations and general protection faults, to lockups and system crashes. The only remedy we have found at this time is to completely uninstall Norton Anti Virus.
