Warning About Editing the Registry

  • Perform Windows registry edits at your own risk. The registry is a critical component of your operating system. Any mistakes made while editing it can cause your machine to stop functioning. This document and other product documentation describes how to edit your registry. In most cases, Borland recommends using the Microsoft regedit tool to perform editing. Whatever tool you use, you should, prior to editing your registry, make backups of your registry and thoroughly familiarize yourself with the editing tool and the registry editing process.
